The leadership team at Hinterland Heavy is committed to protecting the environment by actively identifying and mitigating significant environmental aspects and impacts across our operations. We are dedicated to preventing pollution, meeting all applicable environmental legal obligations, and continually improving the performance and effectiveness of our Environmental Management System.

The management and team at Hinterland Heavy are committed to and will actively pursue the following environmental objectives:

• Promote recycling and waste minimisation as integral components of our operations;

• Prioritise the procurement of environmentally sustainable products wherever feasible.

As part of Hinterland Heavy’s environmental systems and processes, we are committed to the following:

• Educating, training, and communicating with employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholdersregarding this policy and our environmental expectations, where appropriate;

• Maintaining this policy as documented information and ensuring it is accessible to all interested parties;

• Establishing, monitoring, and reviewing measurable environmental objectives and targets to drive continual improvement;

• Conducting regular management reviews to ensure our Environmental Management System (EMS) remains effective and properly controlled;

• Reporting, investigating, and applying corrective actions for all environmental incidents to prevent recurrence;

• Identifying, assessing, and fulfilling all applicable environmental legal and other requirements;

• Documenting and mitigating significant environmental aspects and impacts where reasonably practicable;

• Auditing key operational processes as part of our commitment to continual improvement;

• Maintaining conformance and certification to ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems; and

• Reviewing this policy annually to ensure its ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
